Sivan continues her journey as Scaramouche in WE WILL ROCK YOU.  'Oh Yeah' - Carly Graeme (Oz), Steven van Niekerk (Vic), Sivan Raphaely and MiG Ayesa at the Bangkok Opening The musical written by Ben Elton and Queen, is to open in Bangkok at the Rachadalai Theatre at The Esplanade Mall.
This is the last leg for the touring company, which has made their way through Auckland, Seoul, Singapore and Hong Kong since October 2007 (Shew!)

The touring cast will perform their last “We are the Champions” on Sunday 22nd June at the Lyric Theatre APA, Hong Kong at 7pm.

 MiG and The WWRY Band Make a Wish
Sivan’s awesomely talented co-star in WWRY, MiG and the WE WILL ROCK YOU Band will perform a showcase of songs from MiG's debut CD, new original material, as well as the odd song from the show. Tickets are HK$180 (includes a complimentary drink.) HK$100 of that will go directly to the MAKE A WISH FOUNDATION. This a chance to say goodbye and thank you to fabulous Hong Kong on the last week of the WWRY season, as well as raising money for a magnificent charity. Tickets are available at the door, at the venue, on the night.

Sivan is nominated for a South African Naledi Award! Sivan has been nominated for Best Actress in a musical for her role as MAUREEN JOHNSON in Hazel Feldman’s production of RENT.
The ceremony takes place at the Lyric Theatre (ever noticed how many theatres are called The Lyric?) Gold Reef City on 3rd March 2008.

Theatre burns down but WE WILL ROCK YOU will still open in Seoul, South Korea! “A fire broke out last night in the Opera House at the Seoul Arts Center, about 15 minutes into a performance of Puccini's La Bohème by the National Opera of Korea. Smoke quickly filled the Opera Theater, the house's largest auditorium, and some 2,400 audience members, performers and theater staff were evacuated, according to The Korea Times. While no one was seriously injured, about 60 people were treated for smoke inhalation at a nearby hospital” - Matthew Westphal, playbill arts.com
WWRY was to kick off it’s Asian tour performing at the Opera House in January.

Sivan to play Scaramouche in the international touring production of WE WILL ROCK YOU!!!  Sivan As Scaramouche
Sivan has accepted the leading role of Scaramouche in Ben Elton and Queens legendary musical WE WILL ROCK YOU. She joins the mainly South African cast in Korea at the end of this month.
Sivan will be playing opposite Rockstar INXS finalist and West End star MiG Ayesa, who reprises his role as Galileo.
